Greetings! I'm Lamar, and I tutor mathematics. I follow the teaching philosophy of individual learning and building confidence. I like to use a variety of examples that will correlate the subject matter to real-life experience; I find that when we use these correlations, there is a deeper understanding of how the material is used. When the student builds confidence, and they see life application of the course material, they are more apt to desire success in many other aspects of life. I attended both Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and American InterContinental University. I am able to tutor elementary and middle school mathematics, pre-algebra through algebra 4, precalculus, calculus 1, geometry, and trigonometry. I am also available for assistance with test prep for ACT mathematics and AP calculus AB. In my free time, I enjoy riding motorcycles and engaging in fitness activities.
